Linda Patterson - Linda Patterson, M.A. founder and director of the Eclectic Institute of Aromatherapy and Herbal Studies has over thirty years of experience working with herbs and essential oils. Her love for plants inspired her to complete an education in the sciences at Smith College to better understand plants, their functions, and the challenges they now face in their ever-changing environments. This love has led her to become a Master Gardener, attain a minor in Landscape Studies, and to study the many healing modalities of plants. Linda was classically trained by Rosemary Gladstar, Madelon Hope, Tommy Priester, Gail Ulrich, and Jade Shutes. Completing multiple apprenticeships, levels, and certifications.

Maria Eddows - With over 40 years of aromatherapy, florist, culinary, & cosmetic soap making experience, you'll learn how to create with care and intention.  Maria prides herself in creating products that help others through the holistic power of herbs and essential oils. She's trained through traditional education as well as personal research to find the perfect methods to create her line. Maria's also created her own line of CBD based products with her handmade Full Spectrum CBD Oil.  Along with holistic remedies, she also loves design, partially floral arranging. Her passion started at a young age growing up in a florist shop. Now as a spiritual practitioner she's tied symbolism into her designs, intuitively knowing how to transform the mundane wreath into an aromatic protection. Her expertise blended with her creativity is a recipe for unmatched beauty and purposeful healing. Sheilagh Cruickshank - A local community herbalist, teacher, small-space gardener and free-lance writer who has been working with and learning from the plants for over 20 years. During that time, she studied with many incredible  herbalists, but primarily with Rosemary Gladstar, completing the Science and Art of Herbalism. Apprenticeship, Advanced Herbal Training and Ecstasy of Teaching programs. As an herbal instructor, Sheilagh has previously co-taught the apprenticeship program at The Green Witch School of Herbalism, Run Rosemary Gladstar’s in-person apprenticeship program in NH, offered workshops at The International Herb Symposium, The New England Women’s Herbal Conference, Herbstalk, local garden clubs and is currently a teacher for Rosemary’s Science and Art of Herbalism on-line platform. As a free-lance writer, she has been a regular contributor to The Herb Quarterly and various herbal - based blogs. A dedicated volunteer at Mack Park Food Farm, Sheilagh has created their medicinal herb garden where she teaches classes through the summer months, sharing the joy and empowerment that connecting with our plants can bring!

Teri Kalgren: Teri Kalgren is the owner of Artemisia Botanicals and has been working with herbs for over 40 years. She opened the shops doors in late April of 1997 originally on Pickering wharf, then later moving the shop to our current location on Hawthorne boulevard. Her goal is to create a safe and inviting environment for the exploration of both herbalism and witchcraft that locals and tourist alike can enjoy. Teri has received training and certifications from such instructors as Rosemary Gladstar, Tieraona Low Dog, Margi Flint, Jade Shutes, and Sage Mountain. Teri has been teaching The Green Witch School of Herbalism for over 24 years and is excited to continue sharing her passion for the power of herbs. Teri is delighted to teach others about the joy, empowerment, and self-care that comes with connecting to the plants around you.
